Passport

eTravel Philippines Requirement

The Philippines eTravel system is an online travel declaration used for entry into and exit from the Philippines.

It helps immigration authorities process travelers more efficiently and replaces several paper forms. All travelers must complete it before arriving in the Philippines.

What do I need to submit a Philippines eTravel application?

Before starting your eTravel registration, make sure you have the following information available and ready to submit in the application form:

You do not need printed documents. Everything is submitted online, and you receive a QR code once the form is completed.

Note: You also need a credit or debit card authorized for online payments. This is required to pay the eTravel processing fee to submit your request.

Passport data

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date in the Philippines.

The passport number entered in your eTravel declaration must match the passport you use to travel. If the information does not match, you may face delays or problems at immigration.

If you hold more than one passport, you must use the same passport for your:

  • eTravel declaration
  • Flight
  • Entry into the Philippines

Flight or sea travel details

You’ll be asked to provide details of your arrival transport, such as you flight number, or ship or ferry information (for sea arrivals).

If you have a connecting flight, you should enter the details of the flight that arrives in the Philippines.

If your flight details change after submitting your declaration, you should submit a new eTravel form with the updated information.

Accommodation details

You’ll be asked to provide an address or place where you’ll stay in the Philippines. If you don’t have final accommodation booked yet, you can:

  • Enter the name of a hotel, city, or area where you expect to stay, or
  • Update your information later if your plans change

This requirement is used for contact purposes only and does not lock you into one accommodation.

  • Date and place of birth
  • Contact details
  • Passport data

Travel information:

After submitting the eTravel form, you’ll receive a green QR code. This means the process has been completed correctly. Take a screenshot or download the image, as you’ll need it on your travel day.

It contains questions about any recent illnesses or contact you may have had with someone who has been unwell.

Cutoms rules relate to goods you bring into or out of a country when you cross its border. They’re separate from immigration regulations:

  • Immigration officers check who you are and whether you can enter the country.
  • Customs officers check what you are bringing into the Philippines.

Restricted items

For security reasons, all data you input in the eTravel system is erased once you have passed through security clearance. The QR code you used on arrival will not be valid for your departure.
